From ESG strategy to accountable action
ESG governance helps turn sustainability commitments into clear responsibilities, measurable goals and transparent decisions. Sustainability is integrated into the Group’s decision-making processes through the Board of Directors of CAREL INDUSTRIES S.p.A., the Sustainability Executive Director, the Control, Risk and Sustainability Committee and the ESG Team.
This governance model supports transparent reporting, open stakeholder dialogue and long-term value creation. It also connects daily decisions and strategic priorities with the multi-year Sustainability Plan, the Climate Transition Plan and annual ESG reporting.
Sustainability governance in CAREL’s corporate decision-making
Sustainability governance is embedded in corporate decision-making. The Board of Directors defines the company’s and the Group’s strategies in line with sustainable success, and approves the engagement policies, the multi-year Sustainability Plan, the Climate Transition Plan and the annual Sustainability Report.
CAREL’s ESG governance model assigns clear responsibilities to dedicated bodies and functions. This structure connects sustainability targets with business planning, control activities and stakeholder dialogue. For CAREL, sustainability is not a separate reporting layer: it is a management approach that supports accountable decisions across the Group.
