CAREL around the world

CAREL subsidiaries make our international presence concrete. They connect our global expertise in HVAC/R and humidity control, evaporative cooling, heat recovery, sensors and digital services with the technical needs of local markets.

Through branches, production sites and companies that have joined the Group, we support customers and partners with technical proximity, application know-how and shared industrial standards. This international network helps us bring CAREL technologies closer to OEMs, designers, contractors, distributors and end users in key HVAC/R markets.

M&A strategy to accelerate our growth

A few years ago CAREL decided to start using acquisitions as a tool to accelerate its growth, expand technological expertise and strengthen its presence in strategic markets. M&A allows us to integrate skills, products, services and market access that would otherwise require longer development cycles and greater uncertainty.

Each acquisition also brings new people, know-how and specialist capabilities into the Group. In sectors such as HVAC/R and humidity control, heat recovery, air quality and building digitalisation, this integration helps CAREL respond faster to evolving technologies, regulations and customer needs.

Acquired companies

Over the years, our distribution network has expanded through the acquisition of new companies around the world, bringing CAREL closer to customers in different markets. Some of these acquisitions have also broadened our offering for HVAC/R applications, strengthening our capabilities in areas such as dehumidification, air handling units, digital energy management, field services, sensors and heat recovery.
